PRF filler, also known as platelet-rich fibrin filler, is a relatively new technique in the field of aesthetic medicine. Similar to other dermal fillers, PRF filler involves injecting a substance into the skin to restore volume, reduce wrinkles, and rejuvenate the appearance.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers that use synthetic substances, PRF filler utilizes the patient's own blood to create a concentrated platelet-rich fibrin solution. The process involves drawing a small amount of blood from the patient, which is then centrifuged to separate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and the platelet-poor plasma. The PRP is further processed to form a gel-like consistency, which is then injected into the desired areas of the face or body.

PRF filler is believed to promote collagen production, improve skin texture, and enhance the overall appearance of the skin. It can be used to address various aesthetic concerns such as facial volume loss, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and sagging skin. The growth factors present in the PRF solution are thought to stimulate natural healing processes and tissue regeneration.

One of the advantages of PRF filler is that it utilizes the patient's own blood, minimizing the risk of allergic reactions or adverse side effects. Additionally, PRF filler is considered a natural approach to skin rejuvenation, as it harnesses the body's own healing abilities. Results from PRF filler treatments can vary depending on individual factors such as age, skin type, and the specific treatment area.

PRF can also be combined with filler to obtain the benefits of both properties.
